At the end of September and since October begins, fashions shows have the leading part in my blog life. Expect from the collections that i am informed, models are the second part i look for. Many models walk down the isle, presenting thecollections in their way. I have picked out the girl with the most appearances in catwalks for the Spring 2012, the young, Lindsey Wixson. 

She was born at 1994 (omg,  i feel so old!), she is known for her unique looks, defined in part by her "bee-stung lips", "rosebud pout" and gapped front teeth. When i saw her, my first impression was not good. I couldn't understand why she is so beautiful enough to be a model. But then, i focused on her cons and the gap in her teeth, the strange lips are the characteristics which made her unique and pretty.

Chanel, YSL, Jean Paul Gaultier, Sonia Rykel, Nina Ricci, Moschino, Prada, Versace, Max Mara have all booked her for their shows.

Black and white, yellow, red, dark green, fury, leather are some of the details of Fall 2011 in bags. We can recognize the similarities to the designers and i like what i see. Domeniko Dolce and Stefano Gabbana seems to be rock for the season and the patterns are vivid. Stars, piano, sparkling sequins, they combine music and fashion. Interesting...I am lookng forward to fall...Do you?

Yesterday i was hanging with my girlfriends in a coffee shop. The discussion we were having was various (girls talk) and we ended up in bags. As a bagoholic i should know all the types of bags but when my friend ask me the difference between clutch and pochette, i wasn't sure about my answer...

I couldn't take it in so, i will dedicated a post to the types of bags.

A handbag, or purse is a handled medium-to-large bag and used to hold personal items such as wallet, keys, cosmetics, mobile phone.

A clutch is a medium-to-small-sized handbag with a short handle or without, designed to be carried (clutched) in one's hand (similar to a pocketbook).

LV Satchel 

A satchel, a soft-sided case usually of leather, used to carry papers or books, usually has a handle and often has a strap.

No, he is not a man but Prada's "Madras" tote is the new accessory of orange that it could also have been called 'Chicken Tikka'. We've already spotted it from the arms of Sienna Miller, Jessica Alba and Uma Thurman adding an instant 'colourfull' touch to spring looks.

Fashion Weeks AW2011 Part 3

Pucci  AW 2011

The last week for fashion at Milan. 17-and-go designers have shown their collection. Fendi, Prada, Alberta Ferretti, Max Mara, Pucci, Jil Sander, Marni, Roberto Cavalli, etc.

 Long-sleeved dresses, impressive toilets, narrow trousers, jackets with stressed shoulders that exude dynamism are the basic pieces of wintry collection of house Pucci. The collection has the chromatic pallet (red, luminous light blue, deep mauve, intense fuchsia, dark green etc) and the prints of the brand.

Roberto Cavalli AW2011

The rock n' roll  meets again the gipsy prestige. Hardly and layers they are softly mixed from each other, they are combined with signature animal prints Cavalli, they are stressed by the metal nuances. The airy creations are balanced by the strict lines in the jackets and leather jackets and the fur add one still element of luxury.

Prada AW 2011

 Square lines, big buttons and buckles, colours, 60 ' s characteristically, furs. The clothes are  girly without they are excessively, with the belt tha falls lower in the belly.

Alberta Ferretti AW2011

We saw  from one side the daily totals in intense colours (red, blue electric, orange, mauve), and from the other, the evening creations from which are not absent the signature characteristics of Ferretti (see transparencies and crystals).
